Shreya Jain is the Founder and CEO of Acentric Biotech & Research Laboratory, an innovative Biotechnology research based company setup in Mohali (Chandigarh). Her mission is to provide a unique learning experience in a real-life environment, which enables the candidates to master the skills to work and excel in their sphere of activity.

She is post graduate in Biomedical Engineering from Delhi Technological University, formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering and has interests in protein engineering, bioprocess development, Bio cosmetic formulation, and emerging technologies.

With a strong belief in technology and knowledge leadership, she led a group of young professionals and researchers to start Lifecell Bioscience in 2017 and Acentric Biotech & Research Laboratory in 2021.

She is one of the women entrepreneurs in India who has taken the path of science to build her entrepreneurial empire. Her startup focused on training people to develop research-oriented science which combines technologies with the biological systems & living organisms to develop or make products/processes useful to human beings and for certain beneficial purposes.

Being a research enthusiast she has an opportunity to work with a prestigious organization such as DRDO, AIIMS and FIICI FRAC. With her active participation in various national and international event, she has presented several research done by her and awarded with Best Research Presentation Award on some of the prestigious platforms like Science Conclave organized by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and International Conference on Recent Trends in Agriculture, Environmental and Bio Sciences.

She has years of experience to combine engineering and biological expertise to design solutions to problems in biology and medicine. Sheconduct complex research projects and lab experiments in different areas of Biotechnology techniques spanning from Stem cell & Tissue Engineering, Antibody Development as well as other therapeutic areas including Inflammation, Tuberculosis and Oncology.

She is among those entrepreneurs who were able to make her passion her startup.Her passion for Biotechnology and her experience in Research and Development sector helped her build this business. She alsohas rich experience in branding, management and operations which truly helped her build her brand better.She always aspired to build a business that relies on simple and yet powerful products.
